There are various reports that say about comeback of this pickup. To remind you, this model was launched in 2002. It is a pickup variant of legendary full-size luxury SUV Escalade. Model was produced until 2013. However, sales weren’t so good and this model is not available anymore. But, company doesn’t give up from this model. The 2018 Cadillac Escalade EXT will come completely new. Once again, it will be heavily based on legendary SUV, and there will not be so much differences between these two models, except in body style. Both models will ride on the same platform and use same engines. When it is about visual appearance, 2018 Escalade EXT will come almost identical at the front end. This model will also feature new front fascia, which features new grille with horizontal stripes and slightly revisited Cadillac’s recognizable lighting. Back of the truck is, of course, different but overall impression is that new truck looks more natural that previous model.

I have owned 5 EXT’s, right now I’m driving a 2013 EXT, and I also own a 2007 Escalade with 9,000 miles on it. Both the Escalades have every option you can get. My Wife and I wouldn’t think of driving anything else. Hopefully Cadillac will bring back the EXT in 2017 or 2018.

  6. SID HOLCOMB says:

Dear God. Please let the good people at GM build the EXT again. AMEN.
My 2011 has 200000 miles on it, and I wore out two Avalanches before it. I do not want a pickup. I do not need a third row seat. I do not need a file cabinet in my front seat. I love the saddle bags. I need an openable cargo area that can be secured. My a## wants a luxury SUV. I am retired real estate executive with property to maintain. PLEASE
I am not alone. And I am a Second generation GM loyalist.

    • M Mchugh says:

  10. Randy Oliver says:

I bought my 2004 ext in bright blue, installed 22″ wheels. This trick got more compliments from every where i went for 10 years, right up to when i sold it.i bought a new 2014 escalade platinum, never have liked it as much. As soon as the new ext comes out, i am trading this in. I don’t care what the cost is.

  11. Derrick Townsend says:

Wonder if GM listen to us

  12. Derrick Townsend says:

No one really know when GM will release 2017 Cadillac Escalade ext.

  13. Elinor Armstrong says:

I have 100,000 miles on a 2010 Escalade. I am ready for anew one. I hope they include the silvery gold colour again. This is the nicest vehicle I have ever driven and as a G M Dealers wife I had many, many new cars and trucks since 1960.

  14. Dave says:

I drive a 2005 EXT with 210,000 miles. I owned a ranch 100 miles from Phoenix on steep curvy mountain roads and then a rough washboard dirt road and I drove Ford F-150s before. I would load the EXT up with work crews and supplies and tow huge tractors up 9 percent grades until the axles groaned. After driving up and back in one day in the F150s, I would be near dead. I could make the trip twice in one day in the EXT and never feel it. Amazing ride. I was the only guy my dealer in Arizona had ever seen who used it off-road and in heavy ranch mud and snow..))) Drove to LA many times and it still gets looks with the pearl white finish…Expensive, but worth it. Bring it Back GM…..

  15. Doug wilson says:

Have a 2012. Great ride great looking . Very unique vehicle Ready for a new one when it comes out . Keep making them. People will buy the EXT. I know I will. Thanks to the EXT GODS. My prayers have been answered

  17. Derrick Sanders says:

I have your 2002 Cadillac escalade ext. I purchase brand new and still have with 167,000 mile on it . I am looking to by and band new one please bring it out .we are ready for it what ever the price is I will buy it because I know I can hook it up like my 02 Cadillac escalade ext. very nice .

  18. o says:

I had 10 of them EXT and GM shouldn’t stop making them . I glad they are coming back because EXT was the best truck around with Style and Classy look!!!!

  19. Wolf says:

The Avalamche/EXT platform is NOT coming back. It wasn’t and isn’t financially worthwhile for GM. Don’t be fooled by this fake news and photoshopping (And those of you saying “I own 10 of them and I’m gonna buy 10 more!” are just fools anyway. Get over it and find something else, like a Sierra/Denali crew-cab back with an after-market hard tonneau cover system. It’s basically the same thing as the EXT (I would know, I’ve had a Sierra SLT, Avalanche Z71, and a Yukon Denali). Now I’m in a condo, so I have CTS-V.
