2017 Nissan Titan

One of the Nissan’s biggest vehicles is Titan. This full-size pickup truck was released in 2003 and it is designed primarily for North American market, to compete with models like F-150, Silverado etc. During all these years, Titan hasn’t received some bigger modifications. However, that state will be changed. According to the latest reports, 2017 Nissan Titan will come revisited. We will see not only visual improvement, but also many improvements in mechanical aspect. The 2017 Nissan Titan will finally come with some, so much needed, modifications. Although it will keep some of the features from current model, we will also see many novelties and significant improvements. The first thing that you will notice is new look. New model will come with new appearance, which will be adapted to the company’s new design language. However, main novelty will be a heavier duty variant, which will come as 2017 Titan XD. This version will feature stronger frame. This is basically a fortified frame of the current model, which will provide even higher level of toughness and rigidity, so this variant will be a direct competitor to North American heavy duty trucks.

When it is about body configurations, 2017 Titan will be available in Regular Cab, King Cab and Crew Cab variants. It will be available in five trim levels and three bed lengths. When it is about safety, 2017 Nissan Titan will feature systems like blind spot warning, front and rear sensors, a 360-degree view camera and many other.

The base 2017 Nissan Titan will come with the same 5.6 liter V8 engine. This unit is good enough for about 320 horsepower and 385 pound-feet of torque. Optional engine will be new 5.0 liter turbodiesel. It has max output of 310 horses and 555 lb-ft of twist. Beside these two units, 2017 Titan is also expected to be offered in some more efficient V6 variant. New model will be available in 4X2 and 4X4 drivetrains.

The 2017 Nissan Titan is expected to come somewhere in the second half of next year. Exact price is still unknown. It is expected to go in similar range as for the current model.
