2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Regular Cab

Along with its mechanical twin Silverado, GMC Sierra represents GM’s offer, when it is about full-size trucks. This model originally came in 1998. So far, we have seen three generations of it. Current model came in 2013 and company now prepares an update. When it is about entry-level, 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Regular Cab model, it will come with several novelties, both in visual terms and in terms of features.

The 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Regular Cab is coming refreshed. This refresh will include several changes. The first thing that you will notice on the new model is improved look. It comes with new front end which includes new grille, new headlights etc. Rear end also comes with some changes such as revisited taillights for example. One of the notable novelties is HD radio, which is now available in all trims.

When it is about trims, 2016 Sierra 1500 Regular cab will be available in Base and SLE variant model. Base model comes with standard features such as 17-inch steel wheels, chrome bumpers and grille, cruise control, power windows and door locks, air conditioning etc. When it is about SLE trim, there are also stainless steel finish wheels, deep-tint glass, power and heated mirrors, keyless entry, upgrade InelliLink audio system, leather-wrapped steering wheel all as standard features. There are also optional features like 10-way power adjustable driver seat, dual-zone climate control, a rear locking differential, fog lamps etc. The 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Regular Cab comes with two-seat configuration. When it is about cargo space, you can choose between model with standard and long box.

Standard engine for 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Regular Cab is 4.3 liter V6 engine, which outputs 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque. Optional engine is 5.3 V8 which is good enough for 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are gas/ethanol-powered and come with 6-speed automatic transmission and also with advanced features such as Active Fuel Management and Variable Valve timing, which will provide better fuel consumption. Average fuel consumption is around 22 mpg on highway and around 16 mpg in city drive.

The base 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Regular Cab starts around 31.200 dollars, while SLE model goes around 37.900 dollars. If you want Long Box variant, it will cost you about 300 dollars more.
