2016 Ford F350 Super cab

The 2016 Ford F350 Super cab is working truck with slightly extended cab comparing to the Regular configuration, but it is still two-door vehicle. Last lineup also had this configuration, and there were no big redesign. It is again available in two entry trims, adding Lariat level to this list. That makes Super cab configuration more attractive to buyers, since the last trim has more accessories offered than its XL or XLT models.

Base models of 2016 Ford F350 Super cab are available with 17-inch wheels, and upper trims can offer you 18-inch alloy wheels. Black bumpers and grille are standard equipment, while XLT and Lariat variants carry chrome parts. Air-conditioning and vinyl upholstery are also installed on XL trim. For more money, keyless entry system, cruise control, heated outside mirrors and Ford Sync voice command could be purchased. Audio system of XLT model is also boosted with four-speaker sound system. Lariat level, except these features, can offer fog lights or power telescoping and folding mirrors. There are also eight-way power-adjustable front seats and MyFord Touch infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen. Number of speakers in audio system goes up to eight.

2016 Ford F350 Super cab – drivetrains

The 2016 Ford F350 Super cab has both engines offered for this year lineup. Entry models are coming with 6.2-l Flex Fuel V8 with 2 valves, which is petrol unit. Output of this powerplant is 385 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. It sends power to either two or all four wheels through 6-speed automatic TorqShift transmission. On the other hand, with same gearbox, turbo-diesel 6.7-l V8 variant can be paired. Power Stroke unit propels the F350 heavy-duty truck with 440 horses and 860 lb-ft of torque. Maximum towing capacity is lower than at Regular cab, with its peak set at 24,200 lbs for 4×2 and 23,800 lbs for 4×4 models.

Entry level Xl trim of 2016 Ford F350 Super cab configuration is valued $35,500. As for Regular and SuperCrew cab, gap in price between Super cab is $4,000. We already mentioned that Lariat model offers the most equipment, so starting from $45,500 for this trim is expected.
