2016 Ford F350 Regular cab

Ford 350 is mid-range super-duty truck for 2016 lineup. It is ranked below F450 pickup, but offers more than F250.  As other mentioned vehicles, this truck is made to work, tow and haul. It hasn’t suffered big redesign, as current F150. However, this pickup gets some additional options, and it is available in five trim levels. But, 2016 Ford F350 Regular cab gets only two, base XL and higher level XLT. This, entry model has smallest cabin from other vehicles in Super Cab and SuperCrew configuration. With smaller cabin goes bigger bed, so F350 at Regular variant gets 8-feet bed.

The 2016 Ford F350 Regular cab can offer two powerplants. Truckers can pick if they want to ride on petrol or diesel fuel. Smaller, with less output is gas variant. It is 6.2-l 2 Valve Flex Fuel V8 engine. Petrol unit can produce 385 horses. On the other hand it makes 405 lb-ft of torque. Other option is 6.7-l Power Stroke V8. This turbo-diesel is capable to deliver 440 hp and 86 lb-ft of torque. Regular cab configuration of 2016 Ford heavy duty F350 truck has only one transmission. Gearbox of this pickup is 6-speed automatic. Maximum towing capacity of this variant is 24,700 lbs. It is possible with 4×2 drive system and diesel engine, while 2WD and 6.2-l petrol V8 can make just 16,100 lbs.

2016 Ford F350 Regular cab – trim levels

Two entry trim levels are available for 2016 Ford F350 Regular cab. Base is XL trim, while somewhere northern is XLT. Other variants are not available for this cab configuration. This is two-door truck with long, 8-feet bed offered behind it. Standard equipment includes 17-inch steel wheels, grille, bumpers and door handles in black. Comparing to that, XLT has bigger, 18-inch alloy wheels and grille and bumpers in chromed variant. Additionally, there are heated outside mirrors, rear privacy glass and middle front seat that can be converted into center console. This trim is more expensive, with $37,000 starting price, without additional equipment. Base, XL trim of heavy-duty F350 in Regular cab configuration is available for $4,000 less.
