2016 Ford F250 SuperCrew

The 2016 Ford F250 Crew Cab, or SuperCrew is top configuration of entry-level for heavy-duty F250 lineup. This model offers all that can’t be found in Regular or Super cab vehicles. First of all, there are two additional trims. Engine range is also the same, with 6.2-l and 6.7-l diesel options. However, maximum towing is 16,100 lbs, which is less than two mentioned cab configurations. But, SuperCrew offers more luxurious, infotainment and safety features.

There are total five trims offered for 2016 Ford F250 SuperCrew. Limited edition is available for F150 model, but heavy-duty pickup F250 doesn’t have this trim. Entry level is XL, as for entire lineup. It is different from other cab configurations, because SuperCrew gets more packages as standard, which are additional for Regular or Super cab. Higher levels are XLT and Lariat, which is offered for Super cab. It has all features from XLT, and offers some more. On Lariat’s standard features, top trims continue their equipment. The 2016 Ford F250 SuperCrew King Ranch and Platinum are the most expensive models. They add power scope mirrors and navigation system for King Ranch, and satin chrome bar-style grille, unique leather seating surfaces and 6-inch angular chrome cab steps. That is just part of extra accessories for these models, that give the most luxurious and the most comfortable impression of F250 truck.

2016 Ford F250 SuperCrew – engines and price

As other two configurations, 2016 Ford F250 SuperCrew can be powered from petrol or diesel engine. A 6.2-l V8 is gas unit, while 6.7-l V8 takes diesel fuel. Output is higher for larger drivetrain, offering 860 lb-ft of torque and 440 hp, while petrol unit delivers 385 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. All trims and engines are mated to 6-speed auto gearbox that distributes power to rear or all four wheels. Only Platinum trim is not available with 4×2 drive system. These are the most expensive trucks in the lineup with starting price around $57,000.

King Ranch is $4,000 less, while F250 Lariat stays under $50,000. The XLT, without any additional packages costs around $40,000, while $35,000 is a best value 2016 Ford F250 SuperCrew cab configuration available, and it is price for XL trim.
